Pack2earth is an advanced materials R&D&I company specialised in developing innovative, sustainable materials for the food industry and more. Their biobased and home compostable flexible film, and injection material, can be used to manufacture packaging and other items for long life dry to semiliquid products. Their mission is to have a positive impact on enviromental protection through the reduction of contaminating plastics by replacing them with our sustainable materials.In Pack2earth I had to focus on funding and raising resources to continue the activity. The company was in an early stage of the product development, and we could get some banking funds, subsidies from public entities and some private capital from business angels and family offices to keep the company working in research and development of the products.

Member of the management board, I was responsible of the financials and the human resources of the company. Budget planning, sales objectives and rolling forecast, were my main duties. Direct manager of a team with 4 members in Spain and 3 other in foreign subsidiaries. Corporation with HQ in Mataró, manufacturing plant in China and comercial and distribution company in the US.

Temporary IT project due the acquisition done by BASF, od the Chemetall Group. I was supporting the CFO of the Chemetall factory in Canovelles to help the whole team in the finance department.

BEST ACHIEVEMENTS: The company grew more than 10 times its size, +30 million raised in 2 investment rounds closed in less than a year, and an ERP system was implemented at the same time. Organization and planning were mandatory to succed facing so big challenges.
