Manager of the Raymond James retail Client Onboarding team. • Responsible for managing developer resources for one of the Raymond James IT departments #1 top priority projects between 2016 to 2018. • The system we built added significant user experience and process improvements to clients, advisors, and operations departments by stream lining the client onboarding process by reducing paperwork by replacing the decade old static PDF document needed for each account a client owned with a single, dynamically generated document per client that contained all agreements, such as the Master Client Agreement, where eSignature was used to capture both client and advisor signatures and routed to dozens of Home Office departments involved in setting up clients and accounts. • The Domain Driven Development (DDD) pattern involving cutting edge technologies was used such as Angular, Java, Oracle, process automation frameworks, business rules engine, and many enterprise services on our ESB. • I am extremely proud of my transition from an individual contributor as the software architect of the system to the development team manager consisting of 22 developers (mix of FTEs and contractors) and 6 business analysts. • The composition of the team I managed fluctuated throughout the two years I managed the team. It consisted of 30 to 40 team members directly reporting to me (15-20 developers, 4 to 6 business analysts, and 10 to 15 SQM testers)• Responsible for managing the TFS work items assigned to each team member were implemented on time and within budget. • Managed the backlog of defects and enhancement work items. • Resolved personal conflicts between team members.
