Collaborated extensively with the Canadian Program Trading and Electronic Trading desks, contributing to the enhancement of equity trading operations. I developed innovative data reporting dashboards, enabling more streamlined processes. A key aspect of my role involved the creation of external client reports, ensuring that clients received valuable insights and information. To empower traders, I designed and implemented equity trading data tools utilizing a range of programming languages such as Python & JavaScript, incorporating market data such as tick data, market-on-close statistics, and market share reports. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in crafting automated periodic algorithmic trading analysis reports tailored for institutional equity trading clients. My responsibilities also included conducting comprehensive market research on various market exchanges to stay on-top of industry trends, and to develop support materials for traders.

In constant coordination with BMO's global technology teams, I worked to develop enhancements to current reporting processes and data collection, and provided insights to better equip internal teams. I was a key player in supporting agile teams at BMO by creating new tools for them to capture results and team dynamics. I also had the opportunity to assist the Canadian Deposits team, the Canadian Billing team, the US Receivables team, and the Digital Partnerships team with innovative solutions to real-time data dashboards, task documentation, and technology focused research. In addition to my day-to-day work, I had the chance to participate with other interns and United Way ILEO Leaders in the BMO Innovation Challenge, to propose a new pitch competition for entrepreneurs in underrepresented neighbourhoods in the GTA. Lastly, I worked with key members of the strategy team to conduct research on the Canadian technology and professional staffing verticals and presented to our senior leadership team to support our growth ambitions.
