Interning at KUA was an amazing experience, I had the opportunity to participate in many important projects that helped me to gain invaluable human resources experience including analyzing the 403b plan for reasonableness of fees, creating an employment satisfaction survey and evaluating jobs to determine if they were exempt or nonexempt.

The Tungland Corporation (TTC) provides group homes, family setting homes, vocational programs and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities that foster individual growth. I started working at TTC as a day program caregiver and was quickly promoted to Program Coordinator, a middle management position, managing 3 programs with over 65 total clients, over 25 total staff including 3 program managers. I enjoyed working at TTC because every day was different and I knew that I was helping people.
