While continuing to provide advanced support for the Comcast Content Delivery Network, I emphasized more highly on automation projects. The primary center of this effort was around creating a fully automated self-service framework for the construction of lab environments.I've built and maintained 8 distinct CDNs with over 2000 rebuilds combined; each of which would normally take a human between 2 and 8 weeks both on demand and a daily cadence. I'm also a committer to the Apache Traffic Control project so that I can share a portion of this work with the OSS community. This effort includes a diverse set of scopes from custom Linux installation ISO creation, both physical and cloud resource provisioning, constant enforcement of OS requirements, and specialized application installation elements. Additionally, this effort included the creation and maintenance of a traditional 3-tier application stack leveraging highly-available Postgresql, GraphQL, and ReactJS. As an open-source contributor, I also added support for the VinylDNS governance and API layer to the acme/lego project to support the automated management of SSL certificates.As a leader in my organization, I've chaired our internal education working group creating weekly training sessions on the various aspects of processes and software involved in our environment for several months continuously.
