Major duties and responsibilities:Develops, coordinates, arranges, oversees and administers Community Education classes including:• Source Education Talent in Professional Development and Professional Licensing Continuing Education Unit courses• Workforce skills development courses, coordinating with Small Business Development Center and Custom Fit training,• Community Ed - not for credit evening courses open to the public, including merit badge classes coordinated with the Boy Scouts of America,• Independent Study - individual for credit courses taken by a student through the mail• Serve as the coordinator and facilitator of communication and information sharing between and among Snow College based programs and leaders of education and training state of Utah agencies related to workforce and economic development, and the citizens, businesses, county economic development directors, elected officials and employers of the six-county region (Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier and Wayne counties of central Utah). Coordinate efforts of Snow College entities dealing with economic development in the six-county region, such as the Small Business Development Center and Career Services.• Other related duties assigned. Custom Fit• Area of responsibility: Field Representative Services - This refers to meeting with and assisting companies to develop and maintain Custom Fit Training partnerships. • Area of Responsibility: Corporate Training Organizer - This organizing “corporate training” events through the “CFT Private Account” training account.

--Training Specialist Deliver a wide range of training and consulting services to small businesses across a six-county area. Liaise with the local business community and engage in customer relations. Identify and meet the needs of new and existing clients with small businesses. Work in collaboration with economic directors to address emerging trends and the needs of the small business community. Perform financial analysis in support of the director. Collaborate with the director to define training objectives. Employ expertise to consult with clients and provide comprehensive business economic development services available through Snow College and the SBDC. Design and manage social media campaigns to generate interest, create value, and increase exposure to the Custom Fit program.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: ** Exceeded goals by attaining $45,000 in training agreements in three months' time rather than six months as required.** Created a system that provided rural clients with access to the organization's entire video training library.** Streamlined enrollment tracking and reimbursement process by creating a more effective signup flyer.** Ensured the satisfaction of a frustrated customer by resolving a complex payment overcharge issue.

--Small Business ConsultantBuild relationships while promoting small business counseling services. Manage all aspects of operations, including P&L, marketing, customer service, and web development. Write policies and procedures. Interview clients and develop small business action plans based on short and long-term goals. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: ** Credited with boosting a client's Facebook likes by more than 300%, with an increased reach of 1,000%.** Planned and managed high impact social media marketing campaigns. Designed and installed WordPress sites that met clients' business needs.
