Elected by representatives from every DECA chapter in Alabama as the District Three Vice President for Alabama DECA. In this position, I am responsible for around 1/4 of Alabama DECA’s members. This includes over 500 students and advisors.DECA is a business organization that prepares emerging leaders an entrepreneurs in the fields of marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

At Iron City Studios, I balance multiple roles, including customer relations, packaging, and assisting photographers. Working in this fast-paced environment at a young age has equipped me with a versatile skill set. From managing client expectations to supporting creative projects, I’ve gained hands-on experience that is both challenging and rewarding. This role has given me insight into the ups and downs of the photography industry, preparing me for future opportunities and growth in this field.

As the founder of gcollinsphotos, a sports photography company I launched in my freshman year of high school, I have built a thriving business capturing the action and emotion of sports events. I began my photography career in seventh grade with a passion for digital photography, later advancing to an advanced course in eighth grade. Since then, I have gained extensive experience working as a freelance photographer, holding contracts with professional and collegiate sports teams such as the Birmingham Squadron, Birmingham Barons, Birmingham Legion, UAB Athletics, and Auburn Lacrosse.In addition to my professional work, I serve as the Head Student Photographer for my high school's athletic department, where I have photographed over 400 athletic events. I also manage the Hoover Football Instagram account, creating engaging and timely content that reflects the spirit of the team.My experience includes a diverse range of sports photography, from high school athletics to professional events, and I am dedicated to capturing the intensity and excitement of every moment.
