In charge of developing and delivering TCFT ground training curriculum for all Private Pilot and Instrument Part 141 students. Developed all course notebooks, presentation and online material and tests. Taught over 150 students since program started in fall 2019.

Design and deliver ERAU Private Pilot dual enrollment courses to high school students in Martin County, Florida. Responsible for developing online, remote learning, course material, tests, and assignments in CANVAS LMS.

Training manager for largest electronics custom design and installation company in Florida. Developed the company’s technical training program for over 80 engineers and technicians. Courses utilized video, PPT material, hands-on labs, with performance testing. Courses utilized video training that I developed at The Training Dept. Training increased technician efficient by at least 85%. Also developed presentations and technology courses for the AIA.

Cinema@Home is a high-end custom design and installation company in Ankara, Turkey. We provide home cinema, home automation, home networks, infrastructure wiring, and basically anything electronic in home or light commercial. Responsibilities included system design, formal proposal writing, budgeting. project management, installation quality control, customer satisfaction, hiring engineering staff, creation of web site, co-lateral material (brochures, videos, etc.), showroom scripting, managing service.

The Training Dept. originally provided residential technology consulting and training to major consumer electronics companies including IBM, GE, Honeywell, HP, Compaq, Microsoft, Consolidated Edison, AT&T, Cox Communications, Apple, Bose, Lucent, and more. In 1997 the company expanded to provide classroom based training courses to companies involved in custom electronics design and installation in the residential and light commercial markets. Created over 15 technical seminars and workshops from one-half to two days in length. Courses were given at trade shows, conferences, schools, distributors, and manufacturer locations in North America, Russia, China, Turkey, and Europe.TDS launched its video based training courses in 1998 to the residential technology installation industry and consumers and became a leader in video based training materials and classroom delivered instruction with over 15 full length DVD based training courses. Also hired to developed CEDIA’s “Boot Camp” training courses for beginning and advanced custom installers.

Responsible for all engineering product development and production for this $20 million/year audio/video switching equipment company. Developed four new product lines, hired and managed all engineering staff (hardware/software/CAD/ID), and established QC and testing program for manufacturing.

Provided engineering consulting services to the EIA (Electronic Industries Association). Wrote numerous consumer electronics standards include EIA-600, EIA-660, EIA-140, EIA-720, and many others. Worked with industry groups to obtain consensus on engineering standards in North America and Europe.

Responsible for I/O engineering of the companies new Neuron based sense and control network technology (LonWorks). Developed I/O design requirements, software requirements, and I/O testing program.

Founder of the first fully integrated home automation system company. The product, called MAX, was capable of controlling all aspects of a home including security, lighting, HVAC, energy management. It communicated through voice output and keypad inputs. Archinectics raised $1.5M in venture capital, employed 50 people, and maintained a national dealer network.
