My name is Grayson Blaine Glover. I am currently completing my final semester at the University of North Georgia in pursuit of a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. I spent three years in the Corps of Cadets while studying. When I graduate I would like to start a nurse residency program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta or a program in another hospital's NICU. After I have spent several years nursing and gaining a strong foundation in providing care I plan to return to school to pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner. I have known that I wanted to make a career in healthcare since I was a teenager and became a lifeguard and wilderness first responder. I realized that not only was I enjoying the things that I was learning, but I wanted to be able to provide care at a higher level. I continued my education by becoming a lifeguard instructor and attending EMT school. I have not had much professional experience in healthcare, however, I was a company medic for two and a half years during my time in the Corps of Cadets. This entailed providing first aid, supervising training/events, advising leaders and administrative activities. Outside of school and healthcare, my interests include reading, creating pottery, and growing plants/bonsai.
