From a very young age, I was always engrained in the engineering mindset of mechanical curiosity and a natural love of learning. Finding I was pre-disposed to math as I got older, I joined an engineering academy during my high school years and felt at home. I worked with CAD softwares, coding and electronics boards, learned broad engineering principles of various fields, and many other skills; I had the pleasure of working on a project with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services to design a vibrating pen for patients with Parkinson's Disease. I developed a love for physics and mechanical design, which brought me to choose Architectural Engineering as my major as a student at The University of Alabama. Building infrastructure, I believe, is one of the most important parts of our lives, from homes to hospitals, and so I have found a passion that I hope will carry me through the rest of my career. I acquired an amazing mechanical engineering internship with Triple S, granting me a valuable head start in the professional skills required for success in the engineering industry. It also allowed me to learn hands-on about fluid dynamics and mechanical design, which I will be involved in further along my academic course path. My love for music pushed me to achieve membership in the Million Dollar Band, and has drawn me to my dream of pursuing Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2025 season. Music as an extracurricular taught me to perfect my time management skills, which has helped me to achieve high academic performance in all areas ranging from GPA, Honor Societies, Standardized Tests, and numerous Scholarships.
