Maintenance Technician
CurrentSkilled maintenance technician supporting the equipment located at Daniels Health sites, as well as supporting assigned regional locations. Required to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment, including Daniels robotic washlines, autoclaves, boilers and various other facility equipment to support the site operations. My role includes travel and on occasion short notice support to regional sites where emergency maintenance is required. Possesses a strong background in maintenance of production equipment, boilers, autoclaves and knowledge of the working operations of a medical waste processing center.Job duties• Daily maintenance of equipment• Performing hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs• Communicating with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules and support• Assemble, align, and install equipment and machine upgrades as necessary while adhering to timeline and budget• Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers• Communicating with Plant Managers to arrange downtime to complete maintenance activities• Reports each week of tasks completed & still to be completed.• Remote service assistance to plants with issues, get them back in production as quickly as possible.• Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers• Maintain Washsmart inventory at each Daniels location in conjunction with individual plant management to ensure plants are stocked effectivelySkill requirements• Mechanical, experience in mechanical assemblies and production equipment• Welding, experience with basic repair work• Pipefitting, cutting threading and replacing pipework• Electrical, ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditions• PLC experience, ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machines, with telephone support
