This included writing proper descriptions for items, the proper wholesale cost accounting for any discounts or changes in pricing, and the provided barcodes (or creating my own barcodes) for merchandise.

Worked in a housing community of about 400 students on campus. Filed reports for facilities or legal issues, handled housing policy infractions, planned educational and entertaining events on my own and with other Resident Assistants, and provided resources and support to incoming freshmen. Also assisted in social media takeovers for the residence hall’s Instagram and created advertising for events via social media and paper flyers. This allowed me to build communication skills across different mediums and across power structures within the housing department, as well as build my marketing skills. Also required extensive training on protecting sensitive information, data entry, and navigating personal issues with and for residents.
