At EarthSuds, I originally joined the team as an eCommerce specialist to set up and launch our B2C shop, then quickly found myself taking on more than was outlined. This work ethic led to me being given the title of VP of Digitial within my first 2 months, allowing me to weigh in on larger business decisions, as well as implement some of the tech stack ideas I had to make the team run more smoothly and coordinated. From there I transitioned into the role of VP of Marketing to lead our team of 7 specialists across all functional areas of marketing, ranging from influencers, partnerships, and press to multi-level PPC aad campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook Ads. These efforts helped the team to grow from $0 to over $75,000 gross revenue in the first year and a half of operation. I was also able to compete on behalf of EarthSuds and secure the National Championship for the Climate Change category through Enactus Canada in 2020.

At Summatti, I worked within our small team to enhance our marketing efforts and to gather new business. This included doing SEO research and writing content for our blog to maintain relevancy, assembling social media posts for our various channels, as well as cold calls and emails with contacts I was able to find. COVID-19 put a hindrance on many companies' abilities to invest in a product like ours that requires adequate time to develop and train an AI model, however, I was able to attract multiple clients that were converted after my short 4-month term.

As Marketing Manager of the Lazaridis Students' Society, I ran all the social media channels with over 8000 combined followers, as well as led my own projects. Social posts range from sponsored posts from other clubs we managed, promotion for our own events, and other social media campaigns.Campaigns I led are:-Study Tips Tuesday, providing weekly tips to Laurier students-Humans Of Laz - featuring students and professors from around Lazaridis Hall (Laurier's business building) and the stories that brought them thereI also had a heavy involvement with Startup Of The Month, where a team and I found Laurier startups to feature in a video every month. These videos received amazing engagement and the campaign lives on way beyond my being with the organization.

As the digital marketing specialist for Winged Whale, I created content and ran their social media accounts, with a specific focus on LinkedIn. In this role, I gained the knowledge of how to successfully run various accounts at once and how to manage follower engagement between platforms. This position required me to do extensive research into the field of VR and AR which I was not overly well versed in when I started. The research started as just to find reference articles for content, then it expanding into me researching because I genuinely wanted to know more about this growing industry.

As a server, I was constantly tested to maintain excellent interpersonal communications skills whilst being under incredible pressure and an overwhelming amount of tasks at once. After getting used to this, I was able to apply this skill outside of the workplace and maintain calm in nearly every situation and get what needs to be done, done. My time spent with the Keg accurately depicts what a good work ethic brings you. I started as a host, and through picking up extra shifts and consistently putting in effort to improve every guest's experience, I was quickly promoted. With hosting, I started picking up bussing shifts for extra hours, then transitioned into the kitchen to expedite and work in the salad/ dessert section, then finally landed on serving most recently.
