In my role as the President & CEO of the Central Texas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, I lead our efforts to support and advance the commercial construction industry across Central Texas, encompassing Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan counties. This strategic position involves engaging with a diverse board of directors and managing a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-tier services to over 240 member companies.My responsibilities are multi-faceted, focusing on the robust delivery of training, safety programs, benefits, and information crucial for our members' success. I actively lead advocacy initiatives at multiple government levels to ensure that the interests of our members and the broader construction community are well-represented. Financial stewardship is key; I am tasked with overseeing the fiscal activities of the association, including comprehensive budgeting and sustainability. In my role as South-Central Region Director for the American Concrete Pipe Association, I lead the charge in promoting sustainable, resilient, and durable infrastructure solutions across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Colorado, and Arkansas. My mission centers on elevating the market share and preferential specification of Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) and Precast Box Culverts within the public sector. By spearheading strategic initiatives, I've significantly influenced the regional infrastructure landscape, enhancing the adoption of these critical precast concrete solutions.My efforts extend to forging strong advocacy and relationships with state Departments of Transportation, municipalities, and federal agencies, ensuring the benefits of our products are well-understood and valued.
