As the Vice President of Institutional Advancement & Business Relations, Grayson is the senior level executive responsible for strategic marketing and communications, relationship development with donors, alumni, friends of the college, and corporate and business partners. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Tri-County Technical College Foundation, Inc. and it's subsidiaries, including a real estate holding company and a research foundation. Marketing, communications, public relations, development, endowment management, grants, alumni, and strategic business relations all report under his purview. Grayson serves on the college's Executive Team and reports directly to Tri-County President, Dr. Galen DeHay.

In October of 2014, Grayson joined Tri-County as Chief Development Officer and Executive Director of the Tri-County Technical College Foundation, the State’s largest technical college foundation with assets of more than $35 million. In this capacity he works with the Foundation board to provide strategic leadership to the Foundation operations and staff. His responsibility includes asset management and donor relations.

Served as the Development Director for a regional non-profit. Responsible for all revenue generating funds that supported a $2.5 million annual operating budget through an annual giving campaign, silent auction, golf tournament, $800,000 annual specialty sale as well as supporting United Way relationships. Managed relationships with local community leaders, elected officials and local business leaders. Directed all corporate partnerships including relationships with the Greenville Drive, Road Warriors, Friends of the Reedy River and numerous other initiatives. Directed all public relations and communications to the general public. Provided direct leadership to an eight person professional fundraising staff.

Served as Field Representative on behalf of U.S. Representative J. Gresham Barrett. Represented the Congressman in Anderson, Oconee & Pickens counties through constituent services directly relating to economic development, business development, U.S. Postal Service & USDA relationships. Managed relationships with local elected officials and business leaders.

Handled the candidates day to day operations including scheduling, fundraising, apperances, travel and other logisitics. Assisted the Finance Director in raising $3.5 million for campaign operations during the tenure of the campaign.
