I manage our key relationships with partners at corporations, public agencies, and non-profits. Our process relies heavily on committed partners, members, and sponsors to serve minority businesses, those who buy from them, and the communities in which they live in Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and WyomingI am responsible for maintaining strategic partnerships that contribute to our core mission to foster an environment that develops equitable opportunities and thus creates value for businesses and society as a whole.

I simultaneously oversaw all aspects of several public sector programs, notably including:Technical Assistance Services Program with the City of Seattle, providing technical assistance to small businesses—with a focus on women- and minority-owned businesses—and connecting them to contracting opportunities with City procurement. Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) minority- and women-owned business outreach program, conducting outreach to businesses based in the 36 Washington counties other than Snohomish, King, and Pierce to provide information on and encourage participation in state MWBE certification and connect certified businesses with public contracting opportunities.

I worked with the Coordinated Campaign during the 2020 general election cycle, focusing primarily on recruiting volunteers and reaching out to voters. Our ultimate goal was to increase turnout in down-ballot races throughout red and purple districts in Eastern and Central Washington in a crucial election year.I oversaw recruitment, training, and phone banking while providing administrative and technical support over Zoom, as operations were conducted remotely due to COVID-19.

After being elected to represent California's 52nd Congressional District, I worked alongside young Democratic delegates from across the country on policy framework to be suggested for inclusion in the official party platform.Furthermore, I organized within the California delegation focusing on issues relevant to our state and respective districts. Eventually, I "attended" the (remote) convention and voted on the party platform and presidential nominee.

Upon being presented with the opportunity to join a movement aiming to create generational change, I transitioned away from my professional career to work in political organizing and campaigning. I took responsibility for building a team of dedicated volunteers emphasizing outreach to marginalized and disenfranchised voters in a strategically important region of San Diego County, leading phone banking, canvassing, and volunteer training and recruitment events while collecting and reporting key data to inform campaign strategy. Ultimately, our efforts were electorally successful, as we recruited more than one hundred volunteers, reached out to thousands of voters, and won nearly every precinct in our territory.

Worked with multicultural team members to ensure efficiency throughout project lifecycles. Concurrently oversaw projects including biodegradable and bamboo tableware, electric vehicles, and industrial silica.

Thanks to connections made from my university's International Business Society, I had the opportunity to go to China and work as a consultant. With my background in international business and economics, I provided guidance on the business culture and environment in The Americas and Europe.Collaborating with a multicultural team from product development and sales, I helped develop business plans and viability studies for new products to access more global markets through the growing world of ecommerce.

Given the high demand for learning English in China, especially in the relatively small city where I was living, I had the opportunity to teach English. Along with other foreign English teachers, I met after work in larger groups of students or taught small groups of students alone.

Less glorious than "Model at Abercrombie" sounds, I worked in various capacities at an Abercrombie retail store, including running the cash register, managing fitting rooms, greeting customers, and folding and organizing clothing.
