Safety Stock helps with late PO’s and inventory write-offs. This helps to mitigate delays to Assembly Areas of Study:• Procurement: The Purchasing team oversees and coordinates procurement and logistics activities to support all Kimray business units and is responsible for maintaining and developing mutual relationships with our suppliers to help ensure high quality and timely deliveries to exceed our customers' expectations.• Scheduling: The Scheduling team is responsible for the output of production to our machine shop, assembly and external suppliers based on demand needs and capacity constraints while mitigating the flexibility of parts scheduling to multiple machines and suppliers.• Planning: The Planning team is responsible for analyzing and providing long term production goals for Kimray by strategically aligning materials and capacity needs to meet the organizations demand requirements.• Warehouse: The Warehouse team facilitates tracking and physical movement from receipt of materials, to delivery of components and final packaging of finished goods.
