About Grayson Briggs
I recently graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor's degree in Food & Beverage Entrepreneurship and a Minor in Psychology. I began studying culinary in high school through the career and technical program offered, eventually leading me to JWU. In addition to culinary and psychology, for as long as I can remember, I've also had interests in both business and law. I'm eager to expand my knowledge outside of the classroom by combining techniques learned from both school and work to improve on my abilities in the fields of each of my interests. Through my college courses, I've been able to gain a deeper understanding of business and criminal law, small business management, and business accounting and financing. I also had the opportunity to take part in a Shark-Tank-style competition, during which I was required to design a business and pitch the concept to a panel of potential investors. I was awarded people's choice. In every job I've had, culinary related or not, I've been required at least once to stretch my knowledge base and think quickly and innovatively to overcome a problem; I have always met these challenges. What I may lack in industry experience, I make up for in enthusiasm, passion, and through my work ethic. I'd love to connect and share knowledge, so please reach out!

Working here helped me greatly to refine some of the skills I learned at Johnson & Wales. I was able to gain experience with multiple POS systems and customer service, but I mostly worked back of house cooking on the line, communicating with the other cooks and coordinating with the servers to maintain a steady service.
