As a recent graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Law, I am actively pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, where I will be able to combine my legal and business acumen with my passion for film and storytelling.Most recently, I have gained valuable experience as a Legal and Business Affairs intern at Kilburn Live, a leading entertainment company in Los Angeles that produces live events, immersive experiences, and original content. There, I drafted and reviewed contracts, licensing agreements, and other legal documents related to the company's various projects, ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risks. I have additional entertainment experience through my Management and Development internship at Circle of Confusion, a reputable talent management and production company, also based in LA. In this position, I evaluated potential scripts, provided casting breakdowns for screenplays in production, and identified emerging filmmakers. Through these internships, along with my time as a Summer Associate at the law firm Evans Petree PC in Memphis, I have developed strong written communication, research, and problem-solving skills, as well as my understanding of the entertainment industry and its legal and business aspects. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to further my career goals and contribute to the success of the entertainment industry.
