Greear began pursuing his Juris Doctor at Emory University School of Law in August 2023. Greear was an active leader of his peers at UNC-CH. For his efforts to better UNC-CH and the greater Chapel Hill/Durham community, Greear was recognized as a 2022 Chancellor's Award Recipient—the University’s highest student honor.Greear is not only a committed learner but a fierce advocate for others, striving for progress in gun violence prevention and police accountability legislation. While in Kenya, Greear witnessed how the struggle for justice is a global effort, how people’s diversity strengthens communities, and the importance of reflective representation. While in college, Greear served as the youngest guest contributor to PBS NC's “Black Issues Forum” television show, and in recognition of his continued efforts to uplift NC's Black community, Greear received the high honor of being invited to the White House by U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris in March 2023.
