Joining a small startup with an existing application and vision, I lead the product development team, hiring to make the best use of limited resources while modernizing the tech stack and development process.Working closely with the other executive leaders, I navigated several rounds of product market fit and fundraising, rapidly developing new features and functionality to meet business needs, while scaling from 0 to over 200 accounts and $300k in ARR in less than a year.

* Worked closely with several teams to design, architect, and develop a complex next generation technology solution that included custom hardware, embedded, desktop, and cloud software.* Led a team to craft and build an extensible desktop application in WPF that could be used to discover, configure and manage thousands of dynamic hardware devices and systems across a network.* Implemented a robust, map-driven user interface with several viewable layers, dynamic content, and filtering.* Designed and constructed a communications system including REST APIs and event driven UPnP.* Developed a lightweight, re-usable full text indexing and search system built around Lucene.Net but whose core engine could be replaced using dependency injection.

* Designed, implemented, and maintained an enterprise client-server document management system using C#, WinForms, SQLite and XML.* Redesigned and rebuilt core product using C#, WPF, WCF, SQLite and MS SQL.* Architected a SaaS version of enterprise document management system and led a team of developers in implementing and deploying it. This included implementing a successful web architecture utilizing the Amazon Web Services cloud hosting, Microsoft Silverlight 4.0, WCF, Ria Services, MySQL, Entity Framework and ASP.Net.* Maintained and enhanced a robust REST based API for core SaaS product that allowed complete interaction with the system by large 3rd parties and a suite of mobile and deployed applications.* Engineered integration with Microsoft’s Active Directory service allowing users and groups to be automatically imported from an existing domain network, also enabling “one-click” sign in with desktop application.* Constructed a set of add-ins for Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point allowing documents and emails to be stored directly to document management system.
