Benefits Analyst
Current•Handle the day-to-day administration of the company’s health & welfare benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, disability, life, flexible benefits)•Maintain accurate 401(k) and Pension plan data on the third-party administrator's website (Fidelity), answer participant questions, and investigate any participant issues•Assist employees with questions regarding all benefit programs and provide guidance where necessary•Involved in the final implementation phase of a new employee benefits portal (bswift --> UKG)•Lead annual enrollment planning, testing, execution, and auditing within the HRIS system (UKG)•Ensure timely submission of all healthcare invoices for payment, calculate healthcare funding amounts, and perform reconciliations as required•Assist with updating and preparation of employee benefits guides, required training, and all benefit-related communications•Partner with the internal payroll team to ensure the accuracy of all benefit-related payroll deductions and with the processing of any required adjustments•Manage the Leave of Absence process, ensuring accurate and timely communication amongst involved parties; Partner with the internal payroll team and 3rd party administrator (Lincoln Financial) to ensure the accuracy and timely payment of all leave-related pay•Ensure all U.S. benefits comply with COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA•Manage the Canadian Health & Welfare benefits, Retirement plan and Disability program
