I have a 30-year proven track record in luxury 5 – star spa operations, development and strategy, having practiced at both operational and board level in some of the most successful Spas in the UK and internationally. I have extensive experience in new builds and refurbishments and a broad understanding of the spa market including luxury hotel spas and high-volume day / resort spas.Until May 2014, I was the Regional Spa Director for EMEA at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group looking after both new builds and existing Mandarin Oriental Spas in the EMEA region. Prior to this, I held a board position of Group Spa Director for the Sanctuary Spa Group, where I was responsible for the iconic Covent Garden Spa (25,000sq ft) with more than 63,000 visitors annually.
