I'm responsible for envisioning, overseeing, managing, and creating content to support The Jed Foundation's work in high schools, districts, colleges, and universities to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for teens and young adults.

I write and edit high-quality K–12 educational content in a wide variety of formats, including literacy and ELA curriculum, decodable texts, teaching guides, digital resources, articles, white papers, and more.

I led the creation of web content and programmatic resources for the K–12 education initiative at the National Center for Learning Disabilities and its Understood program. I also launched the inaugural Understood Teacher Fellowship program to include teacher voices in programming work.

As an editor of ASCD's Educational Leadership magazine, I planned theme issues on pivotal topics in K–12 education. I worked closely with education thought leaders and teacher-writers to acquire research-to-practice articles and then shepherd those articles to print publication.

On the staff of Scholastic Instructor and Administrator magazines, I reported on important topics in education, such as UDL and instructional coaching. I assigned and edited the work of multiple in-house and contract writers, while also overseeing an educator advisory board.

I served as the education point person for Scholastic News , a social studies magazine for grades K–5. I wrote student- and teacher-facing materials, including lesson plans, activities, and student printables. I also advised on department-wide education projects, including the introduction of CCSS.
