Operational improvement specialist delivering results in a variety of projects for: 1. Public Sector Services - Savings Programme worth £3.5m across 14 areas of opportunity. Identified and submitted proposals for savings and provided a delivery roadmap. Created insight and financial profiles for when savings would hit the budget. - Forecasted the impact of National Minimum Wage changes to external services and providers, recommending policy changes and operational improvements to mitigate against the potential increased costs from the market. - Modelled capacity & demand with Commissioning and Placement teams to ensure that the right service is provided to service users at the best value for money, optimising the placement process for all parties. 2. Education Technology & Development Specialist - Undertook an assessment of multiple academies across the country to understand their respective provision and performance across all areas of education: academic, sporting and pastoral. - Developed a continuous improvement programme for the schools in addition to other sites within the trust. This has enabled them to learn and share best practice with each other more easily, and empower teachers and students to successfully design and achieve a more holistic development plan.

Newton Europe are an innovative, value driven management consultancy firm delivering major improvement programmes across public and private clients.I was responsible for and proven in managing operational teams to support organisational change, building productive working relationships with clients up to Director level, ensuring that value was achieved as well as delivering internal training programmes and supporting the development of new members of the company. Within the Public Sector I: - Worked with two of the UK’s largest local authorities and delivered savings totalling over £10m- Provided financial validation of savings worth almost £30m. This also involved supporting the optimisation of local operational and financial systems to provide better business intelligence. - Redesigned £5.1m worth of external contracts, producing financial assessments for at-risk organisations and medium-term demand forecasting across the county. - Provided supporting governance for a team of 26 consultants and their client counterparts up to Deputy Chief Exec. - Worked with a combined team of health and social care as part of the DTOC project to reduce the number of people going into long term care on leaving hospital by 50%. Improving quality of life for patients and service users as well as a reduced cost for both health and social care. - Developed a specialist team to reduce the number of at-risk adolescents that had to be taken into long term care by 21% per year. In addition to the huge benefit for the children and their families, this also delivered an annualised £4m worth of savings. - Successfully redesigned the process for managing unaccompanied asylum-seeking children when demand increased by 10 times in the space of 3 weeks.

Within the Private Sector I: - Delivered an increase in the Cost Performance Indicator of nearly 100% at BAE Systems by leading multiple workstreams with client and consultant teams. These workstreams focused on providing early visibility of issues and the processes necessary to remove manufacturing blockers before work began. - At Asda, led a small team to integrate an improvement focused management structure across a department, created supporting governance & metrics packs and trained relevant client teams so that they could train others. Through all of these projects with Newton, I honed my skills in change management, project management and lean principles.

Telehealth Solutions/Medvivo is a leading provider of remote health services including telehealth and telecare. - As operations manager, I managed a team of 5 support technicians servicing units all over England and Scotland physically, remotely and through the coordination of third parties. - I was responsible for supporting the development of a new generation of devices and applications to be used in a switch from Windows to Android-based systems. - I created a system for tracking the clinical progress of service users and created a body of evidence to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of the service provided and improvement in the quality of life for the service users.
