DNWM mission is to advocate, educate empower and provide resources for persons with disabilities. We promote accessible communities, fulfilling our vision of ensuring that accessilibilty will be an accepted civil right. CWIC's provide counseling and educate beneficiaries with disabilities who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and how seeking employment will affect their public benefits such as; SSI, SSDI, Medicare, Medicaid, subsidized housing and food stamps. CWIC's also provide services to ensure that the beneficiaries are using their Social Security work incentives appropriately. They also serve youth's with disabilities who are beneficiaries of SSI and SSDI and are transitioning from school to work.
