The Virginia Active Angel Network is a private early and seed-stage investment group. VAAN also sponsors startup competitions, providing due diligence for other angel groups, and follows the protocols of the Angel Capital Association. Letitia manages legacy investments, sits on all board and advisory positions, and oversees due diligence best practices.

The Angel Capital Association is the principal public policy advocate for the interests of angel investors and angel groups in the United States. As the leading professional association of angel groups, ACA aims to study and address public policy issues that directly affect our members and the field of angel investing in order to better educate and serve our members.ACA focuses on a combination of American federal and state policy issues, both legislative and regulatory. ECorp represents retailers in their site selection and lease negotiation worldwide (previous and current clients include Van Shoes; Big Dog Sportswear; LegoLand; Ron Jon's Surf Park - Orlando; US Cellular - Mid-Atlantic). ECorp also invests in and/or consults for real estate projects, manages the real estate portion of family trusts, and oversees development prospects and projects for private equity clients. "Entrepreneurship & Financing for Technology Ventures" at the UVA School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) Fall 2010. A dynamic course for engineering students that teaches the importance of funding sources, customer validation, presentation skills, a valid argument for both investors and one and two-sided markets, and how to build a professional network worthy of and necessary for getting both capital and mentor capital. Course requires multiple presentations, individual and team, as well as a 20 page research and analysis paper, as well as verification and participation in building an on-line professional network.

Letitia founded Ruth, Green & Associates with her partner, Dr. Henry Ruth, Beaver, PA, to capitalize on the need for M&A, MSO, physician recruitment, capitated contract negotiations and consulting services to hospitals and physician groups primarily in the southern California area. Clients included the Toledo Ohio Health System, Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Cancer Care Associates, Women Physicians Medical Group and private physicians groups. Letitia devised a dynamic mathematical model and then negotiated the first fully-capitated contract for oncology services in this country. She also negotiated a single tax payer entity for 11 plastic surgeons so that the local burn hospital could contract for physician services with third party payors. RGA also negotiated multiple capitated health care contracts for physician groups, providing much needed services for both the HMOs and the physicians in a complicated and margin-thin environment.

Letitia was hired by Steve Schwarzman when she had no idea who he was, and was the first support analyst at The Blackstone Group when it had only Pete Peterson, Steve Schwarzman and their secretary (and no lobby furniture). She provided spreadsheet modeling and analysis, among other functions in a small compay, on several key projects including the Blackstone Fund LP (I), CSX/Sealand, Padco/TRW, and many others. Pete Peterson had just succeeded David Rockefeller as Chairman of the Council on Foreigh Relations, the USSR had just crumbled and Pete went with the council to meet Sakarov. Having met many notables in this then-small company, Letitia gained her love of private equities, deals, analysis, negotiation and all things USSR (Russia).
