At the Center for AI Policy, I am working to educate policymakers about the unique risks of advanced AI. We've drafted the Responsible AI Act of 2023, and we are working on sharing it with co-sponsors and political allies. Together, we can help reduce the risk that AI will accidentally destroy our planet.

I advised local governments and non-profits on their homelessness programs, pursued a class action against mortgage banks for charging illegal fees, and volunteered with advocacy groups on long-term AI safety.

At HomeBase, we work to end homelessness by helping agencies apply for HUD funding, track their performance, and optimize their techniques. At the moment, I'm focusing on helping counties implement a coordinated entry system in HMIS that allocates beds to people with the greatest need, and on upgrading HomeBase's data management software using SQL, ColdFusion, jQuery, and Zurb.

Bracamontes & Vlasak are fierce advocates for tenants and employees who have been mistreated by people in positions of power. At Bracamontes & Vlasak, I managed the cases of over 70 plaintiffs, preparing each case for trial and winning favorable settlements.

Built and applied a model to predict the value of home prices based on zip codes and square footage to demonstrate that subprime lenders were unfairly underpaying for the homes they bought at foreclosure auctions.
