Manager of a team with 20 members, responsible for managing all daily operations and deliveries to our customers. As a member of the management group, I was involved in a project with the purpose of rebuilding the company, therewith taking it in a new direction. We made a substantial organizational change involving the release of 50 % of the company, as well as an ISO9001 certification. The project culminated in the implementation of a completely new infrastructure, and with that a more streamlined product portfolio. The end result was a more efficient organization, more motivated staff, as well as, more satisfied customers.

My role as IT-Manager involved full responsibility for the company’s IT-environment. I was tasked with creating IT-strategies, IT-policies, planning and executing IT-projects and planning the IT-budget. One example of a project planned and implemented is the upgrade of the entire network infrastructure, spanning the stores in both Norway and Sweden.

I was responsible for the company's entire IT-environment; from network and server infrastructure to the local IT-environment at the three Swedish offices. I was also part of engineering the website with focus on the online booking system which still today is Airtours main selling point.

I started my IT career at Ericsson as a system engineer developing an online product handling automatic invoicing and a network information database. I was then appointed project manager and team leader for our developer team. Later on the role as product manager was assigned to me. This involved a full responsibility for the product developed, with additional responsibility for support, internal marketing and sales.
