Helping the people of County Carlow to reduce their environmental impact and live more in harmony with their environment.Prior to my role with Carlow County Council, I was self employed with Greenside Up, working as an environmental and horticultural consultant, mentor, educator, and social garden designer who worked with communities across Ireland. I have been encouraging everyone to consider biodiversity, natural habitats, food security and the circular economy, encouraging more co-sufficient lifestyles. I am an award winning environmental, outdoors and lifestyle blogger, an Irish Green Awards Finalist, a GROW Observatory Irish Champion and a Stop Food Waste Master Composter. Until recently I was a VOICE Ireland recycling ambassador and facilitator for the circular economy, and an URBACT Ad Hoc Expert for Food and the Circular Economy. I have also been an active committee member of County Carlow Environmental Network and am a founder member of Community Gardens Ireland.
