As a full-time, professional ski patroller, I ensure mountain safety and accessibility for all visitors, especially first-timers. Our team prepares the slopes and responds to emergencies on the mountain. Our duties span high-angle rescues, studying snow conditions for safety, avalanche prevention, lift evacuation, and trauma response. We also offer "courtesy rides" when guests face challenging runs. I represent the ski patrol at various guest and competition events, providing tips on the skier responsibility code and safe travel. I enjoy giving back to my new community by helping others enjoy their time in the mountains.

Working with the executives at 1 Energy Systems, I established a thought leadership program and built awareness of the enterprise software startup to attract new customers, secure funding, and position the company for sale. 1 Energy developed energy storage software to allow utilities to incorporate more renewable power into their distribution systems.

As one of the first hires at the Center, I built the marketing infrastructure and managed the marketing and physician relations to provide an advanced, precise form of radiation treatment for adult and pediatric cancer patients. In the startup phase we developed the online and offline brand, including the interior design of patient spaces of 60,000 square foot clinic. After opening, I developed and managed the marketing strategy, joint marketing, digital strategy, public relations, and a $3.5M advertising program. After leaving the Center, I managed the Center's response to the Washington Health Care Authority on insurance issues.

As the first dedicated research marketing manager, I developed and led the marketing strategy for the fast-growing, fifth-ranked pediatric research institute, where we increased revenues from $20M to $67M in three years. I coordinated a team to design lab websites and develop content to build our brand through our outreach, digital presence, grant applications, and fundraising. In three years, we were able to grow the statewide awareness of the research institute from 12% to 19%.

After a change in ownership and fundraising missteps, I rebuilt the brand, stakeholder relationships, and fundraising capacity for the nonprofit. Critical to our success was securing earned revenue streams and raising donations to $1.4M over three years. With our board, I developed a specialty license plate program that now raises unrestricted funds to cover operating costs. During my tenure, I also recruited eight civic and business leaders, including three C-level executives.

When WRQ decided to supplement it's enterprise software with a new technical consulting line of business, I co-wrote the business and marketing plan and launched services that grew from $400,000 to $4M in three years. I developed the services marketing plan and collaborated with the channel and go-to-market teams to integrate services into all software products. I led the team building awareness of the consulting acquisition and supported training for all new staff.

As part of a team tasked with creating innovative new services, I collaborated with the sales team responsible for $220M in sales to develop a range of services, including a power quality consulting service. For each proposed product or service, I developed the business, sales, and customer service plans and proposals to solicit and secure executive support.

Developed and executed public relations and marketing plans for agency clients. Clients spanned consumer goods, software, energy services (remote metering), and the environment.

Chosen as a future manager in the company succession plan, I managed P&L for a $12M division with 65 employees. I led the continuous process improvement program to reduce the cost to connect new customers by 40% while improving service. I was the company representative for a statewide consensus group on whether electric and magnetic fields cause cancer, a company expert on air quality and hazardous waste legislation and regulations, provided briefings for company executives on environmental issues and climate change, and was the communications lead for consolidating 26 operating units into one $40M program.
