Advanced-level Offsites focused engineering position in support of manufacturing sites and developing capital projects for ExxonMobil’s Technology and Engineering Company. Providing leadership in reliability and optimization of Offsite systems for new or modified manufacturing facilities across the company.

Technical resource for the refinery who is responsible for initiating and leading improvements to unit performance in safety, reliability, and profitability. Technical and operational expertise, addressing offsite complex processes. Develop/lead various capital projects, and support global tech. Safety / Health / Environment / Operations Integrity: Responsible for risk management planning, stewardship to facilitate compliance to risk management processes responsible for ad-hoc risk screening, risk assessments within their area support for incidents, investigations/follow-up support for critical and non-critical process procedure responsible for screening process engineering MOCs and task completion for management of change

Initiated and managed regular communication between engineering disciplines ensuring consistent project work quality. Presented to customers in technical review meetings including site visits, P&IDs, model, plot plans, and HAZOP reviews. Developed process basic, front end, detailed, and project revamps for refinery, petrochemical, gas, utility, and offsite units. Interfaced with multiple disciplines including utility, chemical consumption, battery limit summaries, and line and tie-in lists, to prepare process specifications.

Completed Asset Optimization studies using primary data sources including heat and material balances (H&MBs), PFDs, P&IDs, and isometrics (ISOs) provided by the client for fixed equipment and piping systems. Implemented a comprehensive reliability program reducing risks, ensuring compliance, optimizing cost, and improving safety – risk based inspections (RBIs).

Supported project management with regular reporting, scheduling, staffing planning, and coordination. Applied advanced technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and resolve complex problems. Executed process engineering functions including feasibility and optimization studies, process simulations, H&MBs, equipment sizing, instrument/mechanical datasheets, hydraulics, line sizing, and relief calculations.
