Short-term contract role with WYG engineering consultants, acting as their New Engineering Contract (NEC3) Project Manager heading up a specialist team to close out a 4-year asset management data capture programme as part of Crossrail - currently one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Europe - based at Canary Wharf in London. Coordinated with the client and WYG project teams to manage the delivery of services, including surveying and gathering asset data for all assets within the new underground station (c. 18,000 assets with 300,000 attributes in total).

One-year contract role with Siemens, project managing the completion of electrical termination works for ATC (Alstom, TSO and Costain Ltd JV) in the Tunnel Ventilation Systems on Crossrail, based at Liverpool Street in London. Responsible for all operational and deliverable requirements for multiple teams of electricians working across ten active Crossrail stations simultaneously; overseeing programming, access, materials, resources, training, quality, health and safety, reporting and commercials.

Auckland, New Zealand

Responsible for the planning and execution of all aspects of the central Auckland Road Corridor Maintenance contract (annual value $30,000,000 NZD) which incorporated large scale asphalt re-surfacing, concrete pavement works, major drainage renewals and other associated works for the client; Auckland Transport. Ensured deliverables were achieved by making best use of the Downer supply chain partners and internal resources. Successfully planned, coordinated and executed accountabilities for multiple teams covering all elements of the completion of physical works and operations including; health and safety, traffic management, quality, environmental, financial and resource management in the delivery of renewal, capital and emergency works.

Managed a variety of high-profile sites and schemes for CVU (Colas, Volker Highways and Aecom JV), responsible for the completion of highways and infrastructure upgrade works for TfL across central London. Works primarily involved road and footpath civils, drainage, streetscape upgrades and Section 278 works (relating to the construction of new buildings) in high pedestrian and heavy traffic volume areas. Successfully and safely coordinated works while causing minimal disruption to the public. In 2015, the role was expanded to include the Maintenance Manager responsibilities for the TfL River Boat Passenger Piers on the river Thames. Deployed creative, solutions-based thinking and innovative management strategies due to the semi-marine river environment, a new supply chain and aged, neglected assets.

Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand

Responsible for the nationwide roll out of information for the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (carbon credits) for private land and forest owners, for the New Zealand Ministry of Forestry, based at Christchurch New Zealand. Delivery of information involved lengthy campaigns requiring property visits, consultations with landowners and public presentations. Assisted also with the enforcement of the New Zealand Forest Act (1949) indigenous sawmilling regulations; legislation designed to prevent the illegal sawmilling of native trees while allowing the sustainable forest management of indigenous (native) forest on private land.

Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty, New Zealand

Awarded the position of Graduate Forester at Timberlands Limited in Rotorua, New Zealand, responsible for the management of the Kaingaroa Forest Estate in the central North Island of New Zealand - at the time the largest man-made forest estate in the world (200,000 ha). Was involved with all elements of the forest management business via a 2-year rotation through all company departments, with an emphasis on forest inventory in my second year. All roles were heavily focused on sustainability and system optimization; reducing waste and costs by implementing improved systems and techniques.
