Developed and controls framework for process installation and support. Performs all Informatica Administration tasks including upgrades. Assisted with the implementation and proof of concept for Hadoop big data processing.Major Accomplishments:Created processes to capture Working Capital Financial data from 2 ERP systems into BI reporting framework using Informatica. This included creating new Fact, Dimension and Aggregation tables.Assisted in the implementation and testing of a Hadoop infrastructure using HortonWorks.Created a nightly batch support infrastructure including on-call scheduling for staff. This also included creating support guides for problem resolution and migration of code across environments. Works with Oracle DBA team to tune database instance and large SQL queries.

Manage and lead the design and development of business critical Operational Data Source (ODS) data integration projects. Mentor and train developers and serve as a resource for technical solutions. Work in consultation with the business departments to understand, document and design systems to meet business needs and to maintain an on-going excellent relationship with business units. Major accomplishments:Designed and led development of a large complex system data integration using Informatica PowerCenter which resulted in 280 million records of healthcare benefits data. This included 22 workflows and 55 map/sessions. To maximize performance, sessions were highly tuned and run with 20 – 40 partitions on a linux grid/node architecture.Worked with Informatica to install and configure Informatica PowerExchange. This tool was used to capture batch and near-realtime transactions from a large IMS database using both Informatica PowerExchange and PowerCenter.
