My perfect afternoon is one spent in the garage. There’s nothing more exciting than restoring a motorcycle that time forgot. The older, the better. I love the feeling of discovery when working with an unknown machine. I didn’t grow up with formal mechanical training, just an excess of curiosity and ambition. Challenges drive me to learn, and I appreciate the process of problem solving. I enjoy tackling an impossible scenario and working towards a solution.I’m a recent Electrical Engineering graduate from Temple University, where I participated as a Powertrain Systems Lead on the Temple Formula Race Team. The experience provided valuable insight regarding design, manufacturing, and testing of a formula-style race car. As I finish my Senior year, I’m excited to explore the fields of Building Automation Systems and Sustainability. In my most recent role as Electrical Engineer for Production Systems Automation, I had the fortunate experience of working with a talented, dynamic team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. Our projects spanned from warehouse-sized palletizing robots to fine precision medical manufacturing automation. I enjoyed working for a systems integrator that produces custom robotics solutions from conceptual design to factory acceptance.My career has encompassed a variety of industries: electrical engineer, automotive technician, live venue design and management, event coordination, and even technical writing. I’ve also had the opportunity to perform as a touring guitarist in all 48 of the continental United States, Mexico, Canada, and Iceland. These colorful experiences have taught me the importance of reliability, organization, and adaptability. The definition of a professional is the same in every industry, and it’s something that I strive to embody with my work.I appreciate connecting with people and hearing new perspectives.
