Internet Manager, Electronic Commerce ServicesHp May 1997 - Mar 1999Palo Alto, Ca, UsSpearheaded the design, development and implementation of the Compaq AtHome store, the first eCommerce platform for Compaq. • Performed rapid prototyping with NetDynamics, then later converted the protype platform to a Microsoft ASP/IIS based system. • Completed the transformation ahead of schedule, then pivoted the ASP/IIS platform to run on top of Microsoft Commerce Server v3.0 to bring the site in-house for the consumer group. • Collaborated with the SAP team to design, develop and integrate into the backend SAP ERP and OMS platform as well as other legacy systems via remote APIs and EDI services, with ties to external fulfillment vendors via FTP feeds. • Architected, designed, developed and implemented an all-new data structure and schema to allow for mass scalability, new data modeling and categorization, and Configure to Order (CTO) capabilities. This allowed for the creation of the first Compaq AtHome Configurator, allowing customers to custom configure systems to order from the website. -
