I am the author of 10 books, including Secrets of Successful Coaching in which I spoke with 50 top professional and collegiate coaches that included Karch Kiraly, John Harbaugh, Jenny Boucek, P.J. Fleck, and Charlotte Smith. I oversee the National Alliance for Youth Sports' SportingKid website - nays.org/sportingkid - which features free content updated daily. I interview top coaches of all sports to gain their insights on all aspects of working with young athletes; I profile current and former athletes who share their journeys through sports and how they handled the highs and lows of competing; and I speak with leading experts in sports psychology, performance, mental conditioning, nutrition, strength training, injury prevention, safety and other fields related to youth sports to get their insights on these important areas. Since 1981 the National Alliance for Youth Sports has been a leading advocate for positive and safe sports for children.
