Finhaus Labs was a leader in the commercial application of blockchain technology projects, with a team of experts in Sydney, London and Europe. I am passionate about using technology to create digitally transformative channels to market for financial products and services, and to deliver a more convenient modern lifestyle. Sunbay provided off-shore J2EE / Weblogic / Websphere / Tomcat / Oracle capability for the Finance, Insurance and Telecoms sectors.Having privately identified a market opportunity, and defined initial requirements for an enterprise wireless roaming solution, I engaged Dr Seppo Keronen (Nokia’s Head of Advanced Products 3G, Internet Wireless) to complete the technical architecture and design and reached agreement with Sunbay to develop a prototype of this unique enterprise wireless gateway for GPRS / 3G networks. Initially branded as mBA (mobile Business Acceler8tor) Sunbay continued development and now sells it globally branded as "Netsnapper".

Responsible for winning a strategic deal in February 1997 with Nokia to "make distributed object computing commercially relevant". Indigo globally lead Nokia's distributed object computing commercial R&D projects (including managing and utilising their team of 60 scientists in Helsinki) for projects that included delivering native java onto mobile devices, specialised high volume transaction server technologies and the development of their WAP server product et al. Won a global product co-development deal in 1998 for Indigo Cards - funded by the Baan brother's US$1B VC fund. Indigo Cards was a wholly owned venture of Indigo Corp, focused on multi application, smartcard R&D. We built the world's first consumer banking prototypes for Sun Microsystem's multi application Javacard (used at Sun's JavaOne series globally and lead to Indigo being asked to become a Visa International Innovation Partner).Negotiated the sale of Indigo to Nokia at the end of 1999. -
