I am currently in the TechSTAR program at Ultimate Software working in the Software Testing group.

Integrating J2EE applications with a MySQL database using Hibernate framework.Creating relational databases using MySQL.Developing object-oriented code using JAVA.Working in a LINUX environment.Working in a shared and sourced programming environment using technology such as SVN.Implementing code using an Apache/Tomcat server.Building and deploying code using Apache ANT.Lesser experience in all of the following:Front end web design using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSP.Using Dreamweaver to create websites.Integrating J2EE applications with the Struts and Spring framework (in the training process with these technologies).Creating web applications with PHP.Developing object oriented code using C++.Developing bash scripts in a UNIX environment.; I worked at this startup and helped build it from scratch. My initial assignment was to build a JAVA GUI to be used on an everyday basis by the company’s employees in order to enter data using a custom programming language. Once this task was complete, I worked with the daily operations of the product. This included back-end web programming using J2EE in a LINUX environment. It also included writing a JAVA application to extract information from PDF files that were critical to the accuracy of the company’s product. Finally, it included managing the team of data entry personnel, and writing applications to make their jobs easier. Such applications included an application on the internal web server to help them test that they entered their data correctly. Also, there was an application on the internal web server to help them compare new and old data, so that they knew changes that needed to be made.

Developed JAVA and C++ code used to convert data in files for use on the database.Implemented processes to enhance the efficiency of job performance and accuracy.Led a team of four other interns on the above mentioned projects.
