In case you don't know, I currently perform as co-host of “The Greg & Dan Show,” weekday mornings on WMBD-1470/100.3. What is truely impressive is consistently maintaining the top Arbitron/Nielsen rated position as the most listened to radio show in downstate Illinois with male and female ages 25-54 and 35-64. Actually this is my second stint at WMBD, intially working here from 1996-2000. Wearing many hats, I prepare the outline and materials centered on the news of the day, in a fast-paced environment. I conduct live interviews, and promotional spots for local businesses and organizations and interact with the listening audience during live broadcasts and featured promotional events. Additional roles behind the scenes include maintaining a social media presence and engaging with audiences through listener feedback and coordinate with the webmaster to update the station’s website with upcoming show schedules, interviews and photos. When I make personal appearances at remote events, I'll utilize computerized sound equipment for radio broadcasting and internet streaming.

Although it was tough leaving central Illinois, my wife and I had a unique opportunity to work together for one of the nation's most well-known radio stations...and that, was too good of an offer to pass up. Performing an informative, interactive and highly-rated evening show on Chicagoland’s most popular AM radio-stations. I planned the outline for the show, promoted local products and interviewed guests. Eventually, we did miss the lure of a tight-knit community, and all the friends we had made in central Illinois. So, once again, we packed up to embrace new opportunites back home.
