Current• Prepare and fill orders of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Primary customer for this location is General Motors Service Parts Operation. • Unpack and verify goods received against purchase orders or invoices.• Maintain records of received goods and perform quality checks.• Utilize warehouse management systems, including barcoding equipment.• Operate power equipment such as a forklift and hand tools.• Train new employees in the proper processes associated with each aspect of warehouse operations.• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping work areas neat, complying with established safety procedures, and encouraging colleagues to exercise a proactive approach to safety awareness and injury prevention.
