I have been a peroforming storyteller around the pacific northwest since 1994. I perform for all ages. I have done Storytelling programs for elementery schools through colleges, campgrounds and festivals, parties and family events. I tell stories from folklore, mythology, history, personal experience and also use music to accompay my sroytelling shows.

I teach Independent Living Skills Courses for current and former foster youth to gain live skills. I have been teaching ILP courses since we first created them back in 1989 in responce to federal money given to the state chancelors office to provide life skills training to foster youth. I also teach frequently for the Solano Coutny Foster Parent Education Prgram and other college programs around the state of CA.

I am currently the STAY Social Worker for the Sonoma County's Family and Chidrens Sercices Division. STAY stands for Services to Transitional Age Youth. I am responsible for helping current and former foster youth ages 16 to 24 get job placement opoortunites through our Employment and Training Programs. I was the ILSP Coordinator for over 20 years and have also dome Emergency Responce ie (CPS), Family Maintainance and Permanancy Placemant positions as well. I was a Supervisor at the Valley of the Moon Childrens Home and in my earliest years of county employment I worked in the Sonoma County Juvenile Hall. My expertise and passion is working with youth and young adults. Advocacy work for youth has been the primary focus of my work life and has given me gifts beyond measure. The relationships I have been able to be a part of through this work is deeply satisfying and enriching experience.
