Hello I have been in manufacturing for over 20 years and have explored many different facets of the industry. I have worked in the automotive supply chain, large scale fabrication, Oil, and Diesel. During the last several years I have been refining my capabilities as a CNC boring mill machinist on some large stainless steel weld ments, 20 to 40 ton forgings along with a number of short run and ongoing small quantity production projects. Over my career I have used Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradely, and Okuma CNC controls to run Vertical and Horizontal milling machines. In my last position at NOV I worked in the Tooling inventory and set up room I was exposed to the latest and greatest cutting tool technology from high performance end mills to high speed feed mills along with custom tooling creations for for special applications. My extensive travels in the industry have afforded me to opertunity to observe a lot of specialty processing and generic machining applications which tend to pop up in my mind, occasionally at the right time. I am pretty good at group brainstorming. Over the years I have taken some classes to supplement my work experience in Solidworks, Autocad, Trig, college algebra, applied technology,Inventory and production planning, and Computer Electronics. In 2017 I purchased Alibre design software and recently took a class in fusion 360, and now have it to practice on for 3 years.
