I recently took on an exciting new role as Supply Chain Manager at Bolin Webb, an award-winning, luxury razor brand based in Uppingham, UK.I am an American citizen, and until December 2020, when I relocated to Kettering, I was working in Chicago as a Buyer / Planner. I have 5 years’ experience in roles that encompass purchasing, logistics and quality management. Most recently, I purchased components for hydraulic pumps and valves. Prior to this I purchased raw material for machining, for the aerospace, oil and gas industries. The majority of my experience is in busy manufacturing and assembly environments, in varied roles where no two days are the same. As a Buyer / Planner, I was involved in the full production cycle from purchasing high-quality components, through to receipt and quality control of finished goods, and dispatch. I purchased component parts to meet specifications, and ensured costs were effectively forecast and controlled. I was responsible for managing part pricing, placing purchase orders, ensuring they were confirmed and releasing work orders to the floor once all the materials in the BOM were received. I dealt with receiving issues and invoice queries. I am able to manage inventory and lot traceability. In my most recent role I was also responsible for maintaining optimal safety stock levels and control of stock, and maintaining a lean environment. Additionally, I managed outside processes for various coatings and paints to meet print requirements. I have excellent resource planning skills and a solid understanding of MRP/ERP systems and logistics planning software. I have experience utilizing MRP/ERP data to ensure purchase orders are placed on time, and to achieve OTIF at optimal cost. I am able to prepare and analyze data to assess and improve performance. I have experience managing relationships with suppliers and partners. I also have experience managing customer orders, via email and customer website portals, including technical orders from national defense companies. I am an excellent team player and the majority of my experience is in working for small businesses where there is a need to wear many hats.

I cleared loading docks and identified obsolete items. I also marked designated areas in the facility where finished goods needed by QCC drivers will be placed upon completion. I have greatly enjoyed the challenge of searching for information and data to form a clear picture to explain where improvements can be made, and then working to implement necessary tools and actions for improved performance.
