I have a passion for technology, particularly art expressed through technology, such as audio and video. I am also a fanatical computer technology enthusiast with a broad knowledge of hardware, software and networking, which is an integral skill I have developed over the last 30 years of my life. This forms a core part my work, specialising in various disciplines in the media production industry. Additionally, I have over 15 years experience as a professional audio engineer working in almost all sectors of the audio industry including music production and engineering, live sound reinforcement, system design, post-production and location audio. I was also a published technical writer during that time from 2007 to 2013. Currently I work in the broadcast industry for Harambe Technologies in the broadcast division as technical manager (broadcast) and an Elite-tier Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR).
