CurrentLead, Drive, Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs for the Charlotte Campus which includes 3 manufacturing plants, multiple onsite and offsite warehousing operations.Provide exemplary employee care through face-to-face interactions, intentional and meaningful conversations, awareness training and positive behavioral reinforcement. Collect, Trend, Report safety incident data - Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIR), Days Away Restrictions and Transfers (DARTs), Potentially Serious Injury or Fatality Hazards (PSIF’s) / Serious Injury or Fatality Hazards (SIF’s), Near Misses, First Aids, Recordables, Good Catches, etc.Collect, Trend, Report environmental data - Total Environmental Incident Rate (TEIR), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC), Air Quality, etc.Perform Risk Assessments and deep dives on PSIF/SIF Hazards to determine appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Administrative Controls, Engineering Controls, Substitution, Elimination, and high-risk reduction Corrective Actions.Partner with site leadership teams to ensure objectives that overlap with EHS are mutually considered functions (i.e., HR, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, Logistics, Sanitation, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, etc.). Provide EHS guidance and information to site leadership teams regarding regulatory compliance and hazard prevention. Provide professional responses to OSHA, EPA, and other government agency Complaints and Citations. Author and train New Hire Orientation training for site personnel, contractors, vendors, contingent and temp employees.Author and train Site Escalation process and Emergency Response procedure. Lead injury management and response by supporting all Workers’ Compensation claims management.Conduct claims investigations to identify significant hazards, loss trends; identify and recommend preventative measures and corrective actions.
