Over 40 years of insurance and risk management experience including insurer claim management, insurance broker and as corporate risk management. As Director of Risk Management, I am responsible for overall management of our company’s comprehensive corporate risk management and strategies, corporate insurance placements, subcontractor prequalification, subcontractor default insurance program, and claims management. Prior to joining Shook Construction, I was a property and casualty insurance broker providing risk management consultation and property/casualty insurance solutions with a primary focus on construction. Prior to becoming a broker, I held various multi-line and multi-state claim handling and management positions with regional and national insurers in various branch and regional positions with responsibility for the administrative, fiscal and technical oversight of all areas of claims handling including property (including catastrophe response teams), casualty and workers' compensation.
