Public Works Inspections Manager
CurrentManagement of all aspects and phases of Public Works and Right-of Way construction inspections including that of franchise companies. Supervises staff of 6 that includes 5 public works inspectors and 1 right of way inspector. Operates and maintains a fleet of 7 vehicles. Manages Public Works Inspections annual budgets with both expentitures and resourcse to assure a balance. Reviews new approved plans and compares them to the developement contracts to assure all public construction is included. Reviews and compares plans to exhibit "B"s for all private construction inspected by Public Works Inspections. Reviews Right of Way plan submittals for the permitting process. Maintains a access database for both active and past projects and another for the Right-of-Way permitting process. Assures that all administrative item are complete prior to the scheduling of a pre-construction. Conducts pre-construction meeting for public improvement projects. Assigns appropriate inspections staff to projects. Monitors the progress of the projects and the associated records including the maintenance period.
