For the past 13 years I've worked with governments to solve issues, streamline processes and reducing costs to citizens is one of the core drivers I have. Want it simple? I, as a citizen, don't like to see my tax dollars wasted and my specific set of skills allows me the opportunity to help local and regional governments do just that; save money and enhance the citizen's community.My background is centered around quality control with a focus on residential construction, government processes of community development and product safety. I oversaw a team of 85-90 professional staff that conducted over 25,000 residential plan reviews and 200,000 residential inspections in 2 years AND scored a 98% "A" on project success from the client. Using quality auditing methods, I was able to reduce a city's $16M budget by $1.2 million while adding much-needed staff and additional city services. Worked with one commercial developer to conduct continual inspections for 7 days so they could finish the job on time and still meet all CDBG rehab block grants and capture $250K tax credit on the project.Implementing efficiencies that save costs and improve workflows, products or a process is a core skill I've developed over the last 24 years. Thinking outside of the box and finding solutions that accomplish what others only dare dream about is where I excel at.
