Greg acquired extensive technical exposure to the upstream Oil Industry in the Middle East, Europe and West Africa whilst working as an OH Wireline Field Engineer for Baker Hughes. (2000-2007).He then took an MSc in Energy (2007-2008), following with a refreshing career detour in the Renewable Energy Industry (2008-2010).A return to the Oil Industry (2010), Greg took on a role as a Wireline Service Coordinator (onshore) for Halliburton Wireline.From 2014 to present, Greg is working as a wireline Operations Consultant overseeing wireline data acquisition operations on behalf of various Operators, primarily in the offshore North Sea sector. Greg has also completed a distance MSc in Petroleum Engineering late 2019.Finally, Greg is President of Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society, and has also contributed to Devex 2017 - 19 and currently Devex 2020, being fundamental in organising and coordinating a selection of seminar presentations.
